New uniforms super cute
Whoever wrote the script for this episode really, really liked aizuchi, which I think I explained at some point before as being short phrases used to keep conversation moving smoothly in Japanese. You’ll probably see what I mean if you listen closely. Otherwise, this episode was yappari sasuga sugoi. Yurika-sama next week.

Gokukoku no Brynhildr – 12
It was very schwierig to finden a release image ohne spoilers für diese Episode.
Hexenjagd means witch hunt, Ain Soph Aur is some tree of life bullshit, and Initializer is English for “initializer”.
Hexenjagd is also the German title of The Crucible (way to be kreativ, Germans), which is a terrible play (though maybe I only feel that way because they forced us to read it in school, and it’s a damn play, so why are we reading it).

That must be the lewdest math book ever…
So apparently the taking-cold-baths diet is a thing in Japan, which is why Murakami tells Kazumi to take a cold bath when she asks him to help her prepare for the beach in a scene that otherwise makes no sense. I remember wanting to say something else, but I forgot what it was. Oh yeah, the fucking new OP. Who knows what they’re saying?
And this episode’s title (Proof of Life) is the second that shares its name with a song that mirrors what happens in the show. In this case, it’s the Kagamine Rin song by… Hitoshizuku-P?! What?! I didn’t know it was written by Hitoshizuku-P!

Drama audition episode, and as is the usual the song was not translated. Maybe later if you bug me. Ichigo does another kanji thing with 殺陣 (sword fighting), 立て (stand), 縦 (height), and 盾 (shield) (they’re all pronounced “tate”). The dojo sign just says 体技心 meaning body-technique-spirit. The books Sora uses as references say that Muslim women cover their entire bodies (I’m serious). Yeah, not even I know why it took so long to do this episode.

For most of the time I spent working on this episode, I thought it was episode 08. Oops. Episode 09 means there are only four left after this one!
