Aikatsu! – 16

Hello, operator? I think I've lost it.

Hello, operator? I think I’ve lost it.

Oh man, it’s finally our first plot spanning two whole episodes.  After watching, if you think this episode’s idoling was good, you can bet next week’s will be even better. I can’t even imagine what sort of things lie on the other side of this concert.  Let’s tanoshimi, bitches.

Episode 16: Torrent

And oh yeah, I don’t think we actually mentioned this yet, but we finally have an xdcc bot of our own, generously donated by Yuyu.  It goes by the name of Kotoura-chan, and can be found on our irc channel #[email protected]

Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru – 04

What’s the sound of best girl winning?

Well, this one sure was uh… exciting. Masuzu uses both the short and long form of the club’s name as normal words (as opposed to as the club’s name) several times this episode, and since our translation of the club’s name (both full and short) were made slightly awkward to keep the pun-thing, some of the instances in which she uses the words in this episode are translated “normally”.

Aikatsu! – 14

What you say?!

What you say?!

Woo, more Aikatsu! Unfortunately, no aphorism this week either due to the joint thingy with Tamagocchi.  We can only hope it comes back soon. And speaking of things that are missing, I think a few of you might notice a certain something else that is not so inconspicuously absent this week. Enjoy.

Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru – 02

That collar...

That collar…

Okay, first note: The short name of the club is “Jienotsu” (自演乙), which refers to all manners of pretending to be someone else on something in order to aggrandize oneself (for example, making a new thread on a thing, and then post a reply saying “OP is awesome”). The name is made from the component parts of the full name, which would have normally translated to something like “Society of maidens who direct their own lives (as if it were a movie)”. So we tried to do something of the sort.

Second note: Uh… all the subtitles seem to be off by one frame (they’re one frame too late, apparently). Hopefully none of you notice…

Episode 02: Torrent

Done with the fix, rename this to match the episode title and stick it in the same folder, and use it with our release so that all the fonts are included: Episode 02 fix.ass

Aikatsu! – 13

I wish she's eat my adult chocolate.

I wish she’d eat my adult chocolate.

Aaand we’re back to our first series after a two week long break.  Is it just me or are things starting to get serious?  I’m obviously referring to how evil Otome-chan is and how much of an enabler she’s being.  Anyway, enjoy your fat moe.

Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru – 01

Ore no Kanojo ga konna ni AWESOME

At least like, 1500 millihelens.

We bring you the latest in anime adaptations of light novels that have ridiculously long and descriptive titles, Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru (“My Girlfriend and Childhood Friend Fight Too Much”), or OreShura for short. Well, I think it should be Oreshura since it’s Oreimo, not OreImo, but Oreshura looks kind of weird. Though OreShura looks weird too. I don’t like how the short form of the title looks in general, I guess.

Oh, by the way, this is not a Crunchy rip. It wouldn’t be good practice that way. And that’s the Allen Iverson kind of practice, not the goto statement kind of practice.
