Yes, this was exactly the pairing and lesson I had no idea I so desperately wanted. It had just fantastic writing and setup and intricately wove Aria and Mahiru’s necessary growth events together. This was a truly satisfying and fulfilling episode of Stars.
Also, I can’t believe I forgot to mention this, but as most of you are probably aware, starting this April a new series of Aikatsu, Aikatsu Friends, will be airing. The theme this time around is pair units known as Friends, and our main characters will be aiming to become the top unit, Diamond Friends. We’ll see you there.
I hope you will continue to subbing Aikatsu…

Akatsukin and Etoce (Mezashite) will be continuing to sub Aikatsu. I offered to pick it up for them if they were gonna drop it anyway but they seem committed to the cause. 🙂
Thanks!
Truly, Aikatsu will never die. Thank goodness.
A new series…only two years after Stars premiered. Is Aikatsu (and the Pretty Series) going the way of Pretty Cure?
Going the way of Precure isn’t a bad thing at all. That’s what keeps the franchise going.
But seeing as most of Bandai’s properties do this with their anime, namely Precure and Gundam… yes.
But so long as it’s two years, it’s not totally Precure. 100 episodes is much better to tell a meaningful story that can keep evolving rather than just 50.
Im really happy about the unit focus next season. I missed that from the first Aikatsu series.
And as always, thank you!
Stars could definitely benefit from the Magic of Units. Would have liked to see it run longer though.
Thanks
I guess in the future (?) Aikatsu world, double muses have finally taken off…
