The direction this episode was superb. There was a small detail I missed the first time which made the conclusion all the more impactful; I wonder if other people noticed and I’m just the unperceptive one.
Shiori’s actions in this episode reminded me of back when Aoi tried to commit herself to doing the same thing all the way back in OGS1; thank the lucky stars that said attempt really peetered out afterwards. That being said, this was probably the first instance of Planet’s drama actually working out for once, and the lead on towards the next episode with Beat and Ruli’s inevitable clash is shaping up to be an unpredictable clash.
Suffice to say, this is probably the most excited I have been for Planet up to this point.
