It feels like they just said to trade all of the nice writing and animation for as much “special friend service” as possible. That, and some nice development for the Yuuki family at least. Next week will be very exciting though, as we finally get to learn more about her.
Did they really have to go the Brother complex route sigh such a dumb move
They’ve been at it for a while now remember how her brother was acting on he Sugar Melody event when they found out about her voice. I’m not sure if it’s on the same episode but even her older sister comment on her brother attitude towards both of his young sisters.
The implication is that he’s extremely overprotective, not that he’s trying to get in Aine’s pants.
Well I do hope you are right I don’t want it to go the other way
I can’t get enough of Mio’s cute side, but yeah not much development for the for our main girls this episode. Well, episodes like this are fine as long as they don’t do it too often.
Will Love Me Tear and Pure Pallet face of next episode?
Find out on the next episode on Dragon Ball Super.
Huh. Well, hopefully they kept a low budget on this one because they wanted to spend some extra on a more important episode? Way excited for next week, though! I’ve been waiting for this
Money plays no role in anime’s quality.
uh, yes it does? they literally give bigger production budget to more important episodes (finales, etc.)
Thanks!
I’m not sure what you mean. Admittedly, the animation this time was pretty bad, but plot wise it was just fine, continuing to develop the Aine/Mio relationship in a more laid-back, familial setting than we usually get to see; most of the time the girls are “on duty” in some official work capacity. I loved the episode and I’m really happy with how Friends is going. Thanks for your work.
Some of the Friends episodes have bugged me before but none so much as this. It was mediocre in every way possible. At least we should be back to usual quality with 13.
