Aikatsu! – 08

Pfft, she doesn’t drink her meat.

Alright, yet another new idol!  It might just be me, but the coolness levels seemed to skyrocket this episode for some reason.

And the notes: 1) If you don’t know, yakiniku is Japanese grilled meat, usually beef or pork of some sort. 2) Ageha is Japanese for swallowtail butterfly (actually relevant). 3) The Aikatsu Aphorism segment at the end was apparently done every episode, but we’ve just been coincidentally missing out on them in our raws.  Hope you’ll forgive us, and we’ll see what we can do about getting the missing ones.

  3. I hope you can find those missing segments! By the way, there was a typo at 13:37 (I hope that wasn’t intentional). It read “this” instead of “these”.

  5. Just wanted to add my thanks! The show has been cute and fun from the start, but it’s developing into really smart character-driven stories with something to say, and with a sense of scope to the world it’s in. While still being cute and fun 🙂 As for Red’s comment, Yumepati (same target audience, also based on collectable cards, also surprisingly sophisticated storytelling) went 50 episodes… no reason this shouldn’t as well!

    • yeah yu-gi-oh is also about cards but it has a lot of seasons and a lot of episodes and its worldwide famous so why shouldnt this one be that famous too i love this show its the first anime i watched from very beginning without knowing anything

  7. I really appreciate you working on this. Apparently this will be quite a long series, I’ve heard 50 episodes or more. I hope you’ll be involved for the long haul, because I really enjoy this show. Thanks again.
