Moving right along, we’re getting more and more insight into the trials and tribulations of becoming an idol. Notes this week include: 1) Purikura is what Ran said at the beginning, which we changed to photo booth. If you haven’t heard of them, it’s that thing where you take a few pictures, and can then edit them with words, sparkles, or even to change your hair color or eye size. 2) When Ran visits Ichigo’s room, she says いらっしゃいませ！ (irasshaimase), generally a greeting reserved for when you enter a restaurant or shop, hence Aoi’s remark. 3) If you don’t know anything about the actual Aikatsu! arcade game, check out the post below. When they talk about “appeal points”, they’re referring to the numbers in the corner of the cards. If you match the cards correctly within the cute, cool, and sexy categories, the points stack and help you win your audition.
Edit: You might notice at about 15.07 a tiny little mistake in the line being said. Please ignore it for now; we’ll fix it for the batch. No plans for a version 2 because it isn’t a mistranslation-type error, just something we forgot to take out.
