S-So moe I’m gonna die!

Woo, down to the last ten episodes! And finally, something I’ve been waiting for for a while has finally come back. Funnily enough, the characters acknowledge that it was forgotten about for a while.

As for notes, I could write about what daifuku and senbe are, but that’s not terribly important. And if you’ve been watching anime for any amount of time, you’re probably already aware of the Obon Festival and how they force little girls to sing and dance to bring back the dead (or something). Well, you get the point. Enjoy your lolis.

So like I said, delays this week brought to you by Japan, planes, and soul crushing goodness.  By the way, the thing that Orihime keeps bringing up, 嗣子の子落とし(shishi no ko otoshi), literally means “lion-child dropping”.  Wish we had something closer in English. Next episode hopefully on time.

I feel an imbalance in the force.  Almost as if… they brought to light one of my most favorite translator notes in-episode.  At least I still get to tell you that Hoshi = star again!  Hope you’re all profiting from this extremely valuable weekly Japanese lesson.  Oh, and a bit of history this episode too.

Notes time! A certain bright character’s name means “light”, so enjoy the concept of making yet another name pun.  And speaking of name puns, the three girls from Mizuki’s past each have first and last names that phonetically start with the words for “one”, “two”, and “three”.  Clever, right?

There would be more typesetting if a certain person wasn’t being tortured by the sudden heat wave.  But come to think of it, it’s much hotter where I am.  Guess there’s a higher concentration of idols down here.

Where did my last 32 weeks just go? Anyway, two minor decisions this episode were brought to you by the power of flipping a coin.  This episode also had the most spoken lines in a single Aikatsu episode thus far, and would have had the longest typeset if I had had my way.  However, I always keep the viewers in mind, so I spared you the cpu usage.
